Entry #3 Frozen Sensation
Frozen Sensations
Blog Entry #3
When you reach in your back pocket for that metal box, and it makes that clanking noise. We know exactly why you brought it out. You're getting ready to go up to that girl you found super cute. Unfortunately you also just ate pizza and garlic sauce with your boys. Your night would have been completely ruined if you decided to approach her and got not even a hello back. Lets avoid that at all costs. It costs three bucks but gives you the confidence of a million bucks.
You finally get the courage, crack open the box and your smacked in the face with a cold sensation. The aroma smells like your last hike at Wilson's peak. As you put one in your mouth you shiver. The cold feeling in your mouth gives you an adrenaline rush. You walk over to that girl with full confidence, and politely say, "excuse me, excuse me." She turns and smiles, you ask "what's your name? I think you're gorgeous. Surprisingly you and her hit it off. At the end of the conversation she stated your breath smelled really good. Little weird of a statement to tell someone you just met, but you liked that about her. Mouth still feeling like a brain freeze you pop another one.
You never thought you'd like the cold, but it brought you confidence you've never felt before. Now you check your pockets religiously making sure you got it on you. Who would've thought the blizzard in your mouth would get you into positions you'd never think of. When friends ask you if they should up to that girl, you simply pull out the metal box.
I love your description. It gave the sensation of having a mint myself. The reference picture is awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou turned a moment into a full story instead of just describing the experience. The way you connected the fresh breath to confidence when talking to someone made the post fun and relatable.
