 Introvert turned extrovert

Entry #4

Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? All my life I've been easygoing to talk to or even hang around. As soon as people I don't know personally come around, I seem to put up this shield and isolate. I don't feel panic or anxiety around them; I simply just don't feel comfortable around them. Although I don't believe an introvert can turn into an extrovert, there are some strategies that I can practice. Thus, strengthening my people skills.

A lot of the population deeply confuses being introverted versus being shy. The key difference is when you are introverted and hang out with others, you feel drained. On the other hand, being shy, you simply feel anxiety or even sort of scared. For example, "Try looking at your lifestyle as a whole. Reducing social contact in one area can help you to crave it in another". Simple analyses like this and acting on them can change your life.
